Executive Summary
CliniciansCheck is committed to operating at the highest levels of ethical, clinical, and scientific integrity. As a global platform that facilitates healthcare services, content, and digital commerce, we bear a solemn responsibility to uphold trust, prevent harm, and act with transparency across all regions and use cases. This framework safeguards patients, clinicians, stakeholders, and the public by embedding principled governance into every aspect of our marketplace, platform, and ecosystem.
This policy applies to all clinicians, contributors, sellers, partners, developers, advertisers, AI agents, and internal personnel.
1. Core Ethical Principles
CliniciansCheck adheres to the following globally accepted medical ethics frameworks:
- Autonomy – Respect for all users' rights to make informed decisions.
- Beneficence – Commitment to doing good and advancing health outcomes.
- Non-maleficence – A zero-tolerance approach to harm, risk, or medical misinformation.
- Justice – Fair, unbiased access and protection across geography, identity, or ability.
- Veracity – Uncompromising accuracy and honesty in all communications and claims.
We also recognize the Declaration of Geneva (World Medical Association) and regional professional oaths and standards.
2. Accuracy, Clinical Validity & Scientific Standards
Any health-related content or claims displayed on the CliniciansCheck platform — whether originating from users, clinicians, vendors, partners, or third-party sources — must be:
- Scientifically substantiated
- Compliant with local and international advertising laws
- Clearly attributed where applicable
- Accompanied by platform disclaimers or warnings if required
CliniciansCheck does not create, verify, or endorse medical advice, therapeutic outcomes, or clinical claims. Responsibility for all such claims rests solely with the originating party, subject to the applicable jurisdiction and regulatory framework.
Misleading or unsubstantiated claims may be removed, and repeated or egregious violations may result in moderation action or referral to relevant authorities.
3. AI & Algorithmic Integrity
CliniciansCheck enforces ethical AI governance and ensures:
- Human oversight over all AI-driven clinical, marketplace, or triage features.
- Explainability and transparency for users regarding how content is recommended or prioritized.
- Bias detection and mitigation using globally recognized AI fairness standards.
- No automated clinical decision-making without a licensed human-in-the-loop (HITL) clinician unless legally permitted.
AI systems may never:
- Offer diagnoses or treatment plans directly to patients.
- Discriminate based on race, gender, disability, geography, religion, or socioeconomic status.
4. Sponsored Content, Reviews & Conflicts of Interest
Sponsored content, affiliate products, and third-party listings must be clearly labelled and distinguished from independent clinical content.
Reviews must be based on verified usage or validated interaction. Fake reviews are strictly prohibited.
Clinicians and partners must declare all material conflicts of interest, including:
Financial stakes in products or services.
Affiliations with institutions or funders related to recommendations.
5. Global Cultural Sensitivity & Medical Ethics
CliniciansCheck upholds:
- Cultural humility across all health advice, imagery, and AI models.
- Avoidance of medical paternalism, coercion, or disrespectful assumptions.
- Adherence to local ethical review boards where applicable.
- Sensitivity to health-related taboos, trauma triggers, and religious customs.
6. Clinical Advertising & Commercial Ethics
No unverified or unapproved medical devices, pharmaceuticals, supplements, or procedures may be advertised.
Products sold via the platform must meet regulatory approvals in the destination market.
No miracle cures, exaggerated outcomes, or misleading before/after images.
All commercial materials must follow the CliniciansCheck Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy.
7. Whistleblowing, Violations & Enforcement
Any breach of this policy may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of accounts.
- Referral to regulatory or criminal authorities where public safety is at risk.
- Internal audit and platform takedown of associated content, services, or partnerships.
We encourage protected disclosures through our Whistleblower Protection Policy and take all reports seriously.
8. Education, Review & Continuous Improvement
All internal staff and clinician partners receive ongoing ethics and compliance training.
This framework is reviewed annually and updated according to:
- Evolving international medical standards.
- Technological advancements in AI and health tech.
- Global legal and regulatory developments.
- Feedback loops are embedded with patients, clinicians, academics, and ethics advisors.
9. Oversight & Endorsement
This policy is formally governed by the Board Governance Charter and is enforceable across all regions, subsidiaries, platform modules, and business units.
It serves as a binding ethical constitution for CliniciansCheck and reflects the trust vested in us by global institutions, governments, and the public.
