1. Purpose and Scope
1.1 This Professional Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets the expected ethical, clinical, and behavioural standards for all individuals who engage with CliniciansCheck, including but not limited to:
Registered clinicians
Marketplace service providers
Independent contractors
Affiliates and professional contributors
Verified advisors, reviewers, and endorsers
1.2 This Code applies globally across all jurisdictions where CliniciansCheck operates or accepts users, irrespective of country-specific licensure or practice models.
2. Foundational Principles
2.1 Integrity: Act with honesty, transparency, and fairness in all interactions. 2.2 Competence: Deliver services within your scope, training, and licensure. 2.3 Accountability: Take responsibility for actions, decisions, and representations made on or through the platform. 2.4 Respect: Uphold dignity, privacy, and cultural sensitivity toward all users, patients, and peers. 2.5 Non-Discrimination: Do not engage in bias, exclusion, or harassment on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or other protected characteristics. 2.6 Confidentiality: Maintain the strict confidentiality of patient and platform data in line with applicable data protection laws.
3. Clinical Standards and Safety
3.1 Deliver services in accordance with recognised clinical guidelines, national laws, and regulatory frameworks. 3.2 Do not provide services that are false, unlicensed, misleading, or outside of your professional scope. 3.3 Cooperate with CliniciansCheck’s compliance, complaints, and audit processes when requested. 3.4 Maintain up-to-date credentials, registration, and insurance as required in your practicing jurisdiction. 3.5 Where AI-assisted services are offered, ensure they are clinically validated, explainable, and responsibly deployed.
4. Marketplace Conduct
4.1 Do not engage in fraudulent reviews, false advertising, or exploitative pricing. 4.2 Represent your services truthfully with accurate profiles, credentials, pricing, and areas of expertise. 4.3 Treat all platform participants, including staff, patients, and other clinicians, with professionalism. 4.4 Adhere to CliniciansCheck’s Acceptable Use Policy, Dispute Resolution Mechanism, and Terms of Use. 4.5 Respond to feedback or complaints professionally, without retaliation or manipulation.
5. Conflicts of Interest
5.1 Disclose any real, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest prior to engaging in clinical or commercial activity. 5.2 Do not use the platform to promote or endorse unapproved products, unauthorised research, or personally affiliated services without disclosure. 5.3 Abstain from interactions that could compromise impartiality or patient safety.
6. Reporting Duties and Whistleblowing
6.1 You are required to report suspected breaches of this Code or unsafe behaviours to CliniciansCheck via: operationsteam@clinicianscheck.com 6.2 Reports will be handled confidentially, with protections in place for whistleblowers. 6.3 Failure to report serious ethical or safety breaches may result in suspension or delisting.
7. Disciplinary and Remedial Actions
7.1 CliniciansCheck reserves the right to take proportionate action in cases of non-compliance, including:
Profile moderation
Temporary suspension
Permanent removal from the platform
Regulatory notification or legal referral where necessary
7.2 All actions are subject to procedural fairness and may be reviewed under the platform’s Dispute Resolution Mechanism.
8. Global Jurisdictional Alignment
8.1 This Code aligns with core tenets of:

The US AMA Code of Medical Ethics
The European Code of Conduct for Healthcare Professionals
World Medical Association standards
WHO Global Patient Safety Action Plan
Local jurisdictional codes where users reside or practice
Where national regulations impose a higher standard, those requirements shall prevail. Where no such code exists, CliniciansCheck’s standard shall apply.
9. Updates and Enforcement
9.1 This Code is reviewed annually and updated in accordance with legal, regulatory, and operational changes. 9.2 You will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the platform implies consent to the updated Code.
