6. Professional Standards for Clinicians

Clinicians using the platform must adhere to:

  • Local and international codes of ethics (e.g., GMC, APA, AMA)

  • Standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient dignity

Public disputes between clinicians and patients are discouraged. We promote resolution through proper channels, including regulated complaint procedures and support.

7. Jurisdiction and Enforcement

These guidelines are governed by the laws of England and Wales. They apply globally, but users are also expected to comply with relevant laws in their jurisdiction.

CliniciansCheck is not liable for user-generated content but will act swiftly to remove unlawful, harmful, or misleading posts.

8. Policy Changes

CliniciansCheck reserves the right to modify these guidelines at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the platform and take effect immediately.

9. Anti-Review Manipulation Clause

Users must not coordinate with others to manipulate review scores, upvote or downvote certain providers, or use third-party services to influence public opinion. CliniciansCheck actively monitors for review fraud and reserves the right to suspend accounts found in breach.

10. Legal Safeguard on Defamation

Users are reminded that making false statements about a clinician or organisation may be unlawful and constitute defamation. You are responsible for the content you publish.
