Intellectual Property Policy

This Intellectual Property (IP) Policy sets out the rights, responsibilities, and procedures related to the content, trademarks, data, and intellectual property on the CliniciansCheck platform, which includes all digital properties, products, and services operated by Clinicians Check Limited.
1. Ownership of Platform Content
All content, technology, code, databases, and designs on the CliniciansCheck platform are the exclusive property of CliniciansCheck or its licensors, including but not limited to:

Branding (logos, slogans, and design systems)

Software architecture and platform functionality

Text, graphics, audio, and video

User interface (UI), user experience (UX), and workflow designs

Data models, algorithms, and AI-generated outputs
These are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws globally.
2. User and Seller-Generated Content
Users, clinicians, and sellers may upload or submit content to the platform, including:

Profiles, images, text, videos, logos, documents

Product listings or service descriptions

Reviews, testimonials, messages, or metadata
By uploading content, you:
- Warrant that you own or have lawful rights to share the content
Grant CliniciansCheck a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, host, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the platform
Acknowledge that your content may be removed at any time if it violates this policy, any law, or our Terms of Use
3. Trademarks and Branding
“CliniciansCheck” and all related marks, logos, icons, slogans, and trade dress are trademarks or registered trademarks of [Legal Entity Name].
You may not use our trademarks without express written permission, except for fair use (e.g. media reporting or reviews).
Sellers may reference “CliniciansCheck” in a factual, non-misleading way (e.g., “Available on CliniciansCheck”), but must not suggest endorsement or affiliation unless formally authorised.
4. Intellectual Property Infringement Reporting
CliniciansCheck respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your copyright, trademark, or other IP rights have been infringed, please submit a takedown request to:

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to content that infringes IP rights and may suspend repeat infringers.
5. Counter-Notification Process
If your content has been removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with proof of your rights. We will review and may restore the content if appropriate, in accordance with applicable law.
6. Third-Party Intellectual Property
CliniciansCheck may include third-party content or services (e.g. maps, APIs, insurer integrations). These are subject to the respective terms and IP rights of those providers.
7. AI-Generated or Enhanced Content
Content generated or enhanced through AI tools on the CliniciansCheck platform remains the property of the platform unless expressly transferred. Users must not pass off AI-generated content as human-authored for regulatory or medical purposes without appropriate disclosure.
8. Breach of This Policy
Violations of this policy may result in:

Content removal

Suspension or termination of accounts
Legal action or referral to appropriate authorities
9. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
This IP Policy shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to overriding protections available under local IP laws for users outside the UK.
10. Policy Updates
CliniciansCheck reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the platform.
CliniciansCheck reserves the right to take legal action or seek injunctive relief to protect its intellectual property without prior notice.
